Prescription Eyewear Policy:

At Eyes of Nanuet all of our prescription eyewear is custom made to order, therefore there are no refunds, store credit only. Any orders placed using vision insurance are subject to the insurance guidelines for returns or exchanges. No frame or lens changes are allowed once the lab has begun to process the order. We are happy to service all of our products during our office hours.

The American Optometric Association recommends having your eyes examined by an eye doctor every year unless eye problems exist that warrant more frequent visits.

How much will an eye exam cost?

The price of an eye exam can vary due to the tests that occur during the exam and whether the exam includes a contact lens fitting or service.

How do I get my prescription?

Prescriptions expire after one year from the date of the most recent exam. Prescriptions are available upon request in person or by email/fax.

Can I bring in a prescription from my own doctor?

Yes, we welcome you to do so.

Am I able to replace the lenses in my current frames?

Yes, we can use any ophthalmic quality frame that meets our lab requirements.
